Heights of Fodderty

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Heights of Fodderty as Cist (prehistoric), Human Remains (prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

A cist burial dating to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age; it represents a small chamber tomb used for the interment of human remains, typical of prehistoric funerary practices in Scotland. Its presence contributes to understanding regional burial customs and settlement patterns in the prehistoric period.
