Dirlot Castle is a medieval castle in Highland, Scotland, where a small keep and outer rampart still stand on an isolated rock beside Thurso River. In the 15th century it belonged to a family of Sutherlands, then in 1499 passed by Royal charter to one Odo alias Y Makky. The narrow courtyard, thick walls and separate stony rampart suggest a place built to be defended, watched and remembered long after its owners changed.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Dirlot Castle as Castle (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Dirlot Castle was built by the Maxwell family in the 13th century and is remembered for its strategic role in the defense of the Scottish border region.
