Castle Grant is a ruined mansion in Highland, Scotland where Sir Ludovic Grant swallowed an older sixteen-century wing inside a new John Adam construction between 1753 and 1783. The visible L-shaped fragment still wears its original corbelled parapet, while the larger house has faded back into stone and memory. A medieval brooch surfaced near the site, suggesting people have long gathered there to mark identity, ownership or love before the grand rooms appeared.
