Castledon is a ruined longhouse in Caithness, built after 1560 and lost from modern maps by 1970. Its turf banks still mark a rectangular chamber fourteen metres long, facing east through the winter dark. People may have lived there until the roof collapsed, then forgotten the walls entirely.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castledon as Building (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
