Abercross

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Abercross as Cairnfield (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Abercross is a Neolithic cairnfield, dating to the Early to Middle Neolithic period (c. 4000–3500 BCE). Cairnfields are significant as they represent early land use and ritual practices, often associated with burial or territorial markers in prehistoric Scotland.
