Watenan

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Watenan as Cairn (prehistoric)(possible), Sheepfold (19th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

A prehistoric cairn, likely dating to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age, with later 19th-century agricultural reuse as a sheepfold. Its dual function reflects long-term landscape use and survival of ancient monuments in rural settings.
