What is recorded here
Badentarbat Bay is shown as a bay on the public map of Highland. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
Badentarbat Bay features a sea cliff composed primarily of Lewisian gneiss, some of the oldest rocks in Scotland, dating back over 2.7 billion years. These highly metamorphosed rocks formed deep within the Earth's crust through intense heat and pressure, and were later exposed by erosion, creating a rugged and geologically significant coastal landscape.
