Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Hazelwood Demesne is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Hazelwood Demesne, County Sligo, Ireland. It occupies a slight southwest-facing slope inside a mature ash wood. A low broad earth and stone bank surrounds a raised circular area, while a second external bank and narrow fosse mark the outer edge. The western and northwest sections lack the internal fosse and visible berm line.
Situated on a slight SW-facing slope in a mature ash wood. Raised roughly circular area (diam. 39m) enclosed by a low broad bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.3m; int. H 0.5m). At the external foot of the bank is a fosse (Wth 4.9m) and a berm (Wth 4m). At the external edge of the berm is a second bank of earth and stone (Wth 2.75m; int. H 0.4m) and a narrow external fosse (Wth 2.3m; D 0.4m). From W-NW the internal fosse is absent and the line of the berm is not visible. The external bank has been incorporated into a NE-SW orientated field boundary bank SW-N. The original entrance is not recognisable.
