HMS H5 was a British H-class submarine lost in 1915 during World War I after colliding with the RMS *Otranto* in the North Sea, resulting in the deaths of all 38 crew members. The wreck is historically significant as one of the earliest losses of the Royal Navy's submarine fleet in the war.
