What is recorded here

In a level elevated area of rough pasture, on the lower NE-facing slope of Gullaba Hill. An oval area (12.4m E-W; 6.8m N-S) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth c. 0.8m; H c. 0.3m) which survives best along the S and W arcs. The bank at N and S is 1m and 0.4m higher, respectively, than the outer ground level. The bank is covered in gorse and heather. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
