What is recorded here

On fairly flat land on the E bank of the River Arigna and within the landscaped demesne of Wellbrook House which is immediately to the NE. There is a dovecote (KK013-052----) c. 190m to the NE. According to Carrigan (1905, vol. 2, 264) St Kieran of Ossory is the patron of Clashacrow. Clashacrow Church (KK013-051001-) is within the NW angle of an irregular four-sided walled graveyard (dims. Wth at N c. 23m E-W, extending to the SE to c. 32m; Wth at W c. 12m N-S, extending to c. 20m to the E). Carrigan (ibid.) mentions that when he visited (c. 1905) there were eight headstones visible in the graveyard, the earliest dating to 1724. When visited in 1987 the graveyard was quite overgrown.
