Graveslab in Gardens (kilkenny City By., St. Mary’s Par.) stands at St Mary's parish church (KK019-026115-) in Kilkenny, where a broken 13th/14th-century slab was reused in the eastern entrance pier. Its floriated ringed-cross rises from an orb, but the top is modified and the right side truncated, suggesting the stone was cut or damaged before it became part of the churchyard gate. The fossiliferous limestone still carries faint traces of its marine past, while the cross points to a burial long forgotten.
