What is recorded here
Grave Yd (Site of) marks a children's burial ground in County Clare, Ireland. The site is no longer visible, but the name still points to a place where young lives ended and were laid to rest. It may have been a small yard, a forgotten corner, or a place known only to the people who lived nearby. Whatever it was, the children were not anonymous. They belonged to a household, a parish, or a community that loved them enough to bury them separately. The loss would have cut deep, and the place would have carried that weight long after the graves disappeared.
