What is recorded here
Situated on a natural rise of ground in an undulating upland area. The parish church of Templetuohy is mentioned in the Civil Survey in 1640 (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 27). The OS Letters describe the church (TN030-025001) as destroyed to its foundation with a modern church built near its site (O'Flanagan 1930, vol. 2, 85). There are no visible remains of any church in the graveyard which contains eighteenth/nineteenth-century headstones.
