What is recorded here

A rectangular church (LA026-003-) constructed of roughly coursed limestone. East gable contains evidence of a splayed ope with segmented top. Some cut stone fragments have been used as gravemarkers in NE section of graveyard. Rectangular shaped graveyard (int. dims. 48m N-S; 63m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall as indicated on current ed OS 6-inch map. Church in centre of graveyard. Archaeological testing in the vicinity of the church and graveyard was carried out by Martin Byrne in 2004 under excavation licence no. 04E1558.
