What is recorded here

Situated on rise of ground with good views in all directions. Remains consist of a rectangular-shaped area (approx. dims. 36m N-S x 42m E-W) enclosed by a post-1700 stone wall with entrance gate and stile at W end of N wall. Ardcanny church ruins (LI014-008001-) stands in N quadrant of graveyard. Inscribed 18th century datestone incorporated into pier of gateway may date the construction of the church and graveyard wall.
