What is recorded here
Site was visited and recorded in 1980 when it was described as 'the graveyard is enclosed by a modern stone wall. It is an irregular rectilinear structure. There is a modern gateway on the W. The interior rises irregularly towards the area of the ruined structures (WM018-102002-/003-). This appears to be partly due to the natural ridge on which the graveyard is sited. There is no sign of an earlier enclosure. The graves lie for the most part S & W of the ruins. In the NE corner there is a small raised area enclosing graves of the Grant family of Rathconrath Ho. The graves are of 18th, 19th and 20th century dates. Located on a small natural ridge in undulating pasture land 210m SSE of Rathconrath Motte (WM108-093----)' (ASI file).
