What is recorded here

Situated at the crest of a S-facing slope. The church of Kilcashel (WX002-001001-) is surrounded by graves, but there are no limits to the graveyard. The church and graveyard are within a roughly oval eccleciastical enclosure (WX002001004-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload/revision: 27 January 2012
