What is recorded here
One ogee-headed window head still stands outside the church wall, its sunken spandrels unchanged since the medieval building fell. People once walked a hollow cone-shaped stone nearby, paying rounds to St. Carthage Mochaeda, while the new church rose where the old one vanished. The graveyard keeps both memories: buried dead, scattered bricks, and a small piece of rooflight exposed to rain.
