Gateway, extant 1838, on a symmetrical plan comprising pair of drag edged dragged limestone ashlar piers on chamfered plinths having drag edged dragged cut-limestone shallow pyramidal capping. Street fronted at entrance to grounds of The Lawn.
A gateway making a pleasing visual statement in the streetscape at a long obsolete entrance on to the grounds of the The Lawn estate.
