Booley huts were temporary dwellings for seasonal mountain grazing, and this destroyed example occupied Glenmakeeran in County Antrim. The structure has vanished, leaving behind only a map point and the memory of people who lived simply beneath open sky. They likely arrived with animals and left before winter, turning rock and rain into a home for months at a time.
