Detached four-bay single-storey with attic accommodation former gate lodge, built c. 1790, having two-bay full-height gabled breakfront to front (north) elevation. Now in use as house. Hipped slate roof with red brick chimneystack and rooflights. Rubble stone walls with brick eaves course. Square-headed openings with red brick voussoirs having replacement windows and timber battened door with single sidelight. Recent square-headed opening with replacement window to breakfront gable. Rubble stone boundary walls to rear boundary with square-profile piers.
