What is recorded here

Cairn is an unclassified oval mound of loose stones on a southern slope in County Kerry, overlooking the Glantrasna River valley. It lies in rough pasture beside another similar mound, with a visible kerb on its eastern edge. The stones are old enough to be archaeological and ordinary enough to be forgotten, which is why they still stand.

In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Glantrasna River. An oval cairn (3.8m N-S; 2.8m E-W; H 0.8m) of partially grass-covered loose stones. The perimeter is exposed E-W and kerbing is evident E-SE. Another cairn (KE109-001008-) is c. 14m to the ESE.
