Close to the centre of a ring-barrow (KE060-004001-). An upright stone (dims. 1.6m x 0.74m; H 2.07m) roughly rectangular in plan and elevation and orientated NE-SW. The stone leans to the NE. Probably dates to the Neolithic or Bronze Age, given its association with a ring-barrow, suggesting a funerary or ritual context. Such stones may have marked burial sites or had ceremonial significance in prehistoric communities.
