What is recorded here

Not marked on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps. In tillage, on gentle NE-facing slope. Stone (H 1.8m; 0.8m x 0.35m) is rectangular in plan, long axis N-S. The numbers 192 and 10 are inscribed on top half of W face. Possibly stone referred to by Bowman (1934, 565) on P. Murphy's land in this townland. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
