In pasture on SE-facing slope overlooking Coomnagoragh river valley to E. Single upright rectangular stone (H c. 0.98m; 0.78m x 0.5m) aligned NE-SW with adjacent fallen stone (L 0.92m; 0.75m x 0.25m). Second fallen stone (L 0.66m; 0.95m x 0.5m) c. 1m to S. OS Name Book (1897, 69) notes two upright stones close together. OS Memoranda (1936) note that one stone has been removed. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
