Located in wet, rush-grown pasture, with a stream/drain c. 15m to NE. There is a natural rise immediately to SW of the mound.
A compact, circular mound (9.7m N–S; 9.5m E–W; H 0.25m at S, 0.6m at N) with a slight depression to ESE which may mark the location of the trough. It is distinguished by a covering of short green grass amidst the surrounding concentration of rushes. Another fulacht fia (MA071-213----) is located 5m to E.
