Passage tomb, dating to the Neolithic period (c. 3700–2500 BCE), associated with early megalithic burial practices in Ireland. Its significance lies in its construction as part of a larger ritual landscape and its reuse with later cist and pit burials.

What is recorded here

Mantling mound of clay, which sealed and contained cist and pit burials (ME033-028004-), added to passage-tomb (ME033-028001-). (Harntett 1957, 202, 254-7). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
