What is recorded here

Located towards the top of a S-facing slope and within view of the fortified house (LE014-008---) and the 19th-century Dromahaire Lodge, which are c. 500m to NW. This is a grass-covered circular area (diam. 12.8m E-W; 11.5m N-S) defined by a grass-covered earthen bank (Wth 2-3m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.8-1.1m). It is a possible tree-ring, although there is no evidence of tree-stumps. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 23 September 2008

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
