What is recorded here

Consisting of a small hillock on the floor of a slight E-W valley with a canalized W-E stream immediately to the N. Subcircular, domed (H 1m at NW to 2.5m at SW) and grass-covered area (dims 30.7m NW-SE; 26.8m NE-SW) defined by a scarp (H 0.8m at SE to 2.7m at NW), with a berm (Wth 1m at SW to 5.5m at SE) spiraling up the mound anti-clockwise W-NE. There is a slight outer bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.7m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 5m; Wth of base 1.2m; ext. D 0.5m) at the outer edge of the berm at SE. Rath (RO022-058----) is c. 250m to the WNW and rath (RO022-060----) is c. 250m to the SW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
