Myres Castle is a Scottish castle near Auchtermuchty in Fife whose present building dates to about 1530. It stood beside Falkland Palace as the hereditary home of its Sergeants of Arms, set in damp fields where a pond still gathers runoff. The castle has worn through centuries with a square tower, later wings, Victorian gates and Fairlie memories, until it became a private residence and rented venue.
