Inverkeithing

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Inverkeithing as Chapel (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Inverkeithing is associated with St Cathan, an early Christian saint believed to have founded a chapel or monastic site in the area. Local tradition holds that he performed miracles and that the site was a place of pilgrimage, though specific cures or rituals linked to the location are not well documented.
