East Wemyss, Jonathan's Cave is a sea cave formed in Carboniferous limestone, typical of the coastal geology in Fife, Scotland. The cave is associated with Pictish symbol carvings and local folklore linking it to the Wemyss Caves, which are traditionally said to have been the lair of a mythical sea serpent.
