What is recorded here

Dalginch is a possible medieval castle in Fife, Scotland, so vague in its definition that imagination must finish what fact leaves undone. It may have been a tower, a courtyard, or nothing but a boundary marker for a family who stopped speaking their own name. The land keeps the shape of that absence, waiting for a person brave enough to walk the field and ask the soil what it remembers.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Dalginch as Castle (medieval)(possible). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1km. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
