Ballinbreich Castle is a ruined L-plan tower house in Fife, built by Clan Leslie in the 14th century and largely rebuilt in the 16th century. Mary, Queen of Scots stayed there in 1563 and 1565, while James VI stopped at the castle in 1583 before continuing to Lordscarnie. The castle overlooks the Firth of Tay, and crop marks still reveal two curving enclosures that may have held gardens or defensive ditches.

The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
