In a slight fold of a high undulating landscape, and known locally as the village. An area of about 3.5 acres (c. 1.5 ha) contains relict field walls comprising small irregularly-shaped fields (dims c. 20m x c. 10m) defined by grass-covered stone spreads (Wth c. 2-3m; H 0.5m). Amongst the fields of the field system are the foundations of at least three rectangular house sites defined by the foundations of earth and stone walls (Wth 0.9-1.2m; H 0.3m). There is no evidence of lazy-bed cultivation.
