In wet poorly drained grassland, situated on N facing slope of NE-SW ridge in the Slieveardagh hills with good views in all directions. Overgrown but well-preserved monument consisting of a slightly raised circular area (approx. diam. 20m N-S; 25m E-W) enclosed by and earth and stone bank (top Wth 2m; base Wth 4m; ext. H 0.6m; int. H 0.10m). No clear evidence of an outer fosse or entrance feature. Perimeter of enclosure covered in furze bushes making detailed examination impossible. This small enclosure, in an upland area, may have been reused as a booley site.
