Clochán an Gharraí Chluanaigh holds three conjoined circular huts on the lower south slopes of Mount Eagle, though time has crushed the southern chamber and reduced the rest to a large stone cairn. The central hut measured nearly four metres across, while the northern companion remained just two metres wide, creating an asymmetric bundle against the hillside. Low upright slabs still mark the basal courses of both wall faces, proving these were built rooms rather than a random heap. They may have sheltered herders, traders or fleeing families during storms, but the vanished southern hut suggests the site changed or collapsed before human memory faded.
