What is recorded here

Clochan in Fán, County Kerry, holds the buried foundations of two or three small stone dwellings, now smothered beneath a large field clearance cairn. People may have stood at that spot, pulled stones from the ground and built a tall pile to clear the land for farming. The ancient rooms vanished under human labour, transformed into a marker of ordinary work rather than a remembered home.
