What is recorded here

Castlerankine Burn is a vanished farmstead in Falkirk, Scotland, reduced to a point on a national record and a burn that still cuts through the memory of the land. The water may have turned mills, filled troughs or carried off the ashes of hearths, while the stones vanished under grass and time. To walk beside it now is to share the lane with ghosts who never left, drinking from the same cold source and forgetting the names of the rooms they once warmed.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castlerankine Burn as Farmstead (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
