What is recorded here

No visible mound remains at Polldonoghoe, only a shallow stone ring and the claim that something built below it. That absence, not grandeur, is what makes the place memorable. The land has taken back most of the shape, leaving behind a suggestion rather than a answer.

On the S-facing slope of a hill in rough pastureland. Poorly preserved subcircular cashel (38m E-W; 31m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall which obscured by dense overgrowth from S to SE.
