Bealnalicka holds a stone ringfort where human hands stacked rocks into a defensible circle before the region favored fairy tales. The fort served people, not ghosts, though age and distance can turn memory into myth. Its stones still mark the edge of human settlement in County Clare, waiting for breath and story to return.
