What is recorded here

Bealnalicka in County Clare holds a stone ringfort, a circular cashel built from local rock. It is a common Irish shape, yet the completion of that circle required heavy labour and clear intent. People may have lived there, buried their dead or simply marked the landscape before written memory arrived. The stones still stand because they were made to resist forgetting.
