Fairy fort in Ummeraboy East is a circular earthwork 28m wide on a gentle north-facing slope, enclosed by a bank 2m high inside and 3m outside, with a causewayed entrance to the east-southeast and a shallow fosse beside it. The north bank has eroded into a four-metre break, while the southern ditch still holds water after rain. Cattle graze around it now, but the shape remains clear enough to walk inside and imagine the hands that built it.

In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope of E-W ridge. Circular slightly raised area (28m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 2m; ext. H 3m); external fosse ENE->NNW. Bank severely eroded to N and NE; break (Wth 4m) to NNW; causewayed entrance (Wth 4m) to ESE. Fosse survives as slight depression ENE->ESE; filled in SSW->WSW because of trackway skirting bank; best preserved to SE and S (D 0.7m; Wth 3m).
