No visible trace remains at Rinemackaderrig, though local names still point to a hidden fort. That absence does not diminish the place; it refuses easy judgement. The land may have worn the ridge smooth, or the fort may have never been more than a boundary drawn in memory. Either way, the name preserves what sight has lost.
