Moy More in County Clare holds a ringfort where clay and stone still draw a visible circle. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the boundary between human life and hidden life feels thin in that empty field. A household may have stood there once, breathing and working under open sky before forgetting removed their name. The earth kept the shape longer than memory did.
