Maulyregan holds a perfect thirty-foot circle where conifers now choke the earth. People called it a fairy fort because the small bank defied ordinary sense, yet human hands may have shaped the rim before forgetting its name. The trees hide the truth, but the shape remains intact on the northern slope.

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular, slightly raised area (30.5m N-S; 30.5m E-W) enclosed by low bank (H 0.3m). Interior planted with conifers. (GSAP).
