Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lyre (duhallow By., Clonmeen Par.) stands as a levelled single-ramparted fort, roughly thirty-one yards across, on land belonging to T. Humphrey. The field still carries the name Pairc a Leasa, meaning Fort Field, proving the earth remembered the shape long after stones vanished. Bowman recorded the site in 1934, yet the exact spot has slipped from human memory. The fort did not disappear; it waited for imagination to return it.

Bowman (1934, 243) recorded levelled single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 31yd) on T. Humphrey's land; field locally known as 'Pairc a Leasa - Fort Field'. Exact location not known.
