Lackannashinnagh holds a ringfort where clay and stone still draw a circle around forgotten life. The locals call it a fairy fort, which means the boundary between human history and myth has never fully closed. People may have built it to keep out rain, thieves or worse, but the fairies inherited it later and refused to leave.
