Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Kilcow

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Kilcow holds a circular earthen fort where people lived, died and forgot the names of everyone who ever entered. The ridge still stands beside ordinary ground, preserving the shape of households that stopped answering centuries ago. Forgetting did not erase the fort; it returned the forgetters to the world as legend.
